Middle Peninsula Transportation Demand Management is a cooperative effort with
Virginia Department of Rail and Public
Transportation and the Middle Peninsula localities to serve the transportation
needs of residents and employers of the Middle Peninsula.
Middle Peninsula Rideshare is tasked with advancing alternatives to the drive alone commute through innovative programs serving the Middle Peninsula region, including the Counties of Essex, Gloucester, King and Queen, King William, Mathews and Middlesex and the Towns of Tappahannock, Urbanna and West Point. As the region is working to preserve its high quality of life, conserve valuable natural resources, and provide needed services to a gradually changing and aging population, Rideshare has begun preparing for future needs today.
