| The Mt. Olive Community Development Block Grant Project,
located in King William County, is a comprehensive community
development project with housing, water, sewer and self help
components. The grant aims to complete the substantial reconstruction
of 32 homes, the rehabilitation of 2 homes, private or public
water facilities, and public sewer facilities in the target
area. There will also be demolition of vacant homes in the
project area, as well as removal of blight and debris. Begun
in 2003 and scheduled for completion at the end of 2006, the
Mt. Olive CDBG has been succeeding through the commitment
of both King William County and Mt. Olive Community residents.
