a list of hazards that may impact the community: |

Natural hazards: Storms,
earthquakes, wildfires |
| |
Technological hazards:
nuclear power plants, oil or gas pipelines and other hazmat facilities |
| |
Civil/Political hazards:
rioting, demonstrations |
| Use existing
hazard analysis (if it exists) so as not to reinvent the wheel |
| |
- review existing hazard
analysis and identify any changes that may have occurred since it was developed
or last updated, such as: |
| |
- new mitigation
measures (new zoning, reconstruction of bridges, overpasses) |
| |
- opening or
closing of facilities or structures that cause 2ary hazards (hazmat
facilities, transport routes) |
